I am honoured to be patron of the following organisations.

The Vegetarian Society
The Vegetarian Society of the United Kingdom is the oldest vegetarian organisation in the world. It is an educational charity promoting understanding and respect for vegetarian lifestyles.
Viva! – Vegetarians International Voice for Animals – believes that the best way to improve our health, stop environmental damage, global hunger and animal cruelty is to stop eating animals now: go vegetarian or, better still, vegan. Viva! has shocked and enlightened many with its very effective campaigns.
The Vegetarian and Vegan Foundation (VVF)
The Vegetarian and Vegan Foundation – or VVF – is a registered charity that was set up to monitor and explain the increasing amount of scientific research linking vegetarian and vegan diets to health, and to provide accurate information with which to make informed choices.
Vegetarian For Life
Vegetarian For Life is a new charity that aims to improve standards of catering for older vegetarians and vegans throughout the UK. Activities include the publication of catering guides and UK lists of vegetarian-friendly care homes and other caterers for older people.
The Inner Yoga Trust
The founder, Jenny Beeken, writes: ‘Yoga … is a way of bringing life and awareness to our bodies. The postures enable us to live our day-to-day lives with more vitality and greater connection of mind and body.' The Inner Yoga Trust runs yoga teacher training, holidays and events across the UK and abroad.
The Quiet Mind Centre
The Quiet Mind Centre is a charity based in Exmouth, East Devon, dedicated to providing counselling, healing and complementary therapies to those who suffer from physical, emotional or stress-related health problems. The centre is staffed by therapists and receptionists who give freely of their time.
